Luxury contemporary art by Jana Bogmatser – unique bas-relief paintings, created in a technique inspired by jewelry art and adorned with shimmering crystals. These exclusive works are designed for luxury interiors, prestigious public spaces, hotels, and elite private collections.

Photographs can only partially convey the atmosphere but cannot fully capture the true effect of my artworks. Colors, textures, and the brilliance of crystals change depending on the lighting, creating depth that cannot be reproduced on a screen.

Each painting is handcrafted using a unique technique, where the play of light, layered textures, and crystal brilliance reveal their full beauty only when experienced in person.

This work is created as a bas-relief, where each element rises above the surface, adding depth and three-dimensionality. Flowers, leaves, and a heron are decorated with crystals, producing a radiant effect.

The heron, standing on stones, conveys stillness and contemplation, while the tree adds a sense of balance and harmony inspired by Eastern aesthetics. Initially conceived only as a tree, the work reached completeness with the addition of the heron.

Care Instructions: Fragile details such as branches, leaves, and flowers should not be touched. The wall must support 12–17 kg.

The idea for this painting came from an unexpected moment of observing nature. One day, while walking along the beach, the sky was gray and windy as usual. Suddenly, the sun broke through the clouds and illuminated a small part of the shoreline. The sea, covered with gray waves, began to shimmer as if scattered with precious stones reflecting the sunlight. It was a bright yet brief moment that filled the world with light and beauty.

This painting was created to capture that impression. The bas-relief style was chosen to emphasize the dynamic movement and flowing form of the waves. Glass crystals symbolize the preciousness of nature and recreate the sparkling effect observed. The silver background reflects the dull and cold atmosphere before the sun appeared, contrasting with the light-filled waves.
